Attention Wilmette Jr. Trevians Hockey Families

We are pleased to announce that Bobby Acri will be the new Hockey Director for the Wilmette Jr. Trevians, effective March 1, 2022. During this past year he has coached both our Mite 2 and the Squirt Minor (2012) Central States team and led our skills program, while playing an instrumental part of our Club staff. Bobby is excited to bring his knowledge, passion, and energy to help in our mission to further establish Wilmette as a top youth hockey program where players can develop their skills, play at their highest level, and enjoy the game of hockey.

For those who have not met Bobby, he grew up in Winnetka and played for the Winnetka Warriors until middle school, when he left to play for the Chicago Young Americans (CYA). He played for CYA for 5 years, and then spent 3 years on New Trier Green. Bobby attended the University of Iowa where he played 4 years of club hockey. After college, Bobby began coaching at New Trier High School and the Winnetka Hockey Club. Before joining Wilmette as Director of Player Development, he helped coach the U15 CYA team and assisted in building the Jr. Storm organization. Bobby is also the Co-Director at Impact Hockey during the summer.

We are excited about this next step on that path for the Wilmette Jr. Trevians Hockey program and remain committed to offering a strong hockey program for our players and their families. As always, thank you for your continued support!
